Reputation and Karma both have an overall score and a separate score for each topic.
Reputation is based on public contributions and ratings by others. A public contribution is one that is shared with 'Everyone'. Your Reputation goes down by posting spam content.
Karma is based on how you rate other people's content. Rate content as positive to increase your karma. Rate content as negative to decrease your karma. To rate content you must have posted at least two non-spam public posts and your reputation must be positive. Your Karma also goes down by posting spam content.
You will see the following tags on content posted by this person. The first score is the person's reputation on that topic and the second is the person's karma on that topic. Click on a tag below to see the latest activity by this person about the topic.
